I keep going back and making new discoveries for myself and friends at Carroll&Chan! The scents are amazing and I so appreciate that the ingredients are going to be healthy to breathe and use (‘love the body balm!).
The tulip scent is perfect for gifts from Amsterdam.
Liana is encyclopedic in describing the various scent profiles and helping me discover new options. You can tell that so much thought goes into all the products—using marketing designs supporting various artists and workshops for disabled crafters and, again, components that you can feel really good about sharing and/or using yourself.
Make Carroll&Chan a regular stop if you live in Amsterdam (I do!) and as a place to take visitors for great gifts.

I was lucky enough to receive a gift of two little votive candles from a friend who visited this store. The smell of the candles are delicious enough to eat, particularly Sakura and Ish-Ka. The little glass jars have beautiful pictures on the outside and will be perfect with tea lights whenever the beeswax runs out. I can't wait to visit this store when I'm in Ams next!

What a lovely little shop, in my favourite of the Nine Streets! I bought some of the mini diffusers, as they were only €9 each, and loved the scents so much I went back and bought the candles. The big candles have a big, wide wick which seems to burn better and last longer (I have never seen these wicks before). The staff are friendly and happy to tell you all about the products. All products are environmentally friendly - totally plastics-free! - so that's a 5 stars rating from me 🙂

The best candles and diffusers I’ve ever used. The variety of original, exotic perfumes Carroll & Chan use are delightful and the range extensive. Because they don’t thin their products with alcohol, the perfumes outlast other brands I’ve used. Reasonably priced, beautiful designs, and aroma combinations. Who could resist “Jasmine, Rose & Cranberry”? Highly recommended.
