Geraniol is a plant-based oil that is a proven insect repellent. Its light, floral scent combines well with the fresh lemon scent of citronella, which has long been used to deter insects.
Our Geraniol & Citronella candles contain 5.3% Geraniol and 20% citronella essential oils.These ingredients were found to be effective against mosquitoes by a study published in June 2009: “Efficacy of the botanical repellents geraniol, linalool and citronella against mosquitoes”, published in the Journal of Vector Ecology, Wiley, 2009.

Burns for approximately 20 hours.
